Hobby-supplies.com shipping policy is as follows:
Flat rate shipping does not apply to international orders, the difference
will be calculated and added to your order. If the order is paid by means other
than a credit card the customer will be sent an email informing them of the
difference. Different countries have different shipping standards, for some
countries there is no tracking and no delivery timeline guarantees. The US
Postal Service will generally give a shipping time of 4 to 6 weeks.
***NOTE*** if there is no tracking option on international orders we cannot
guarantee delivery and lost shipments will be the responsibility of the
customer.
Backorders:
We do carry a large selection of products, however, there may be times when
demand is greater than supply or we are introducing a new product line and
do not yet have a feel for inventory requirements.
If an order has an item that is not in inventory then the order will be
held until the item is received or one week, whichever is shorter. At that
time the order will be sent and a new invoice will be created for the
backordered items.
Return Policy
hobby-supplies.com offers an unconditional 30 day money back guarantee
unless the item has been damaged by the customer.
Shipping is the responsibility of the customer unless hobby-supplies.com
has shipped an item not ordered or an item is damaged in shipping.
Merchandise that has been opened will be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
Merchandise that has been damaged in return shipping will not be refundable
unless the packaging was provided by us.
Sometimes manufacturers will make modifications to a product without
notifying retailers (for instance, 2x2 manufacturers have started putting a
tab on their self stick 2x2’s). Hobby-supplies.com does not consider
these modifications to be a different product therefore does not pay for
return shipping.
Since we charge flat rate shipping charges, reimbursement for qualifying
returns will be limited to the amount that we would charge for shipping
(for instance, if a customer orders $105 worth of supplies they will pay
$12 in shipping. If they return
a $24 item then a maximum of $4.00 will be reimbursed for return shipping).
Our new flat rate shipping charges are as follows:
$.00 - $25.00 shipping will be $4.50
$25.01 - $50.00 shipping will be $6.50
$50.01 - $100.00 shipping will be $9.00
$100.01 and up, shipping
will be $12.50
Payments
Orders paid by check will be held for 10 business days.
